Role Model Africa Successfully Holds Business Strategy Forum

Role Model Africa has successfully organised a two-day forum, dubbed the ‘Business Strategy Forum’ for over ten (10) Ghanaian organizations at the Accra City Hotel in Accra on 7th and 8th October 2021.

Participants of the forum were engaged in interactive sessions and practical exercises to help them learn new strategies for their businesses and also as a way to ensure that participating managers, supervisors and middle-level staff gain practical knowledge through the forum.

The participating companies included; Promasidor Ghana Limited, Allianz Life Insurance Company, Saka homes, Empire Domus, Bidvest Ghana, amongst others.

Topics discussed included; Leadership, which was facilitated by Dr. Jeff Bassey, a leadership expert, People Management and Culture of Excellence by Mr. Patrick Otieku-Boadu, a certified coach and Sales Strategy by Mr. Mawuli Ocloo, a Sales expert and moderated by Role Model Africa’s Mr. Samuel Agyeman Prempeh.

The leadership session equipped participants with relevant knowledge in leading a team effectively, especially in this period of uncertainty, and also helped to dispel some myths surrounding the topic of leadership.

People management skills are one of the top competencies required of leaders everywhere, and so this session informed the participants on the expertise they need in order to manage people effectively.

Also, the Sales strategy session educated partakers on the right approach to prospecting and attracting high-paying clients, pitching business ideas and closing business deals.

Lastly, the session on ‘culture of excellence’ explained the need for leaders to imbibe their company culture in their staff and why every team member should live the mission and vision of the company.

In engaging Isaac Kobby Arhin, a participant, he expresses how impressed he was with the event. In his words, “I have learnt some new sales strategies from Mr. Mawuli Ocloo’s session that I am going to implement in my team. I will make sure we are committed to effectively using our KPIs to meet our targets and to also help us measure progress”.
